Welcome to my blog.
My name is Richard Coppack. Teacher of Music, lover of culture. And golf.
In April 2020 I made a decision. A decision to leave my Green And Pleasant Land and ply my trade overseas. I left Sussex (my home of 12 years), returned to my native Merseyside and began preparation for this voyage of professional and personal discovery.
Goodbyes were made by the score, sad but tinged with the hope of new adventure. “You must keep in touch, let us know how you are doing,” was the consistent parting gesture. There is much comfort to be taken from knowing how many back home are rooting for you, and much guilt from knowing that as a man I will be utterly hopeless at letting anyone know anything. What follows is therefore nothing but my laziness, a one-stop-shop for all-comers to stop by and browse the broad teachings of a teacher abroad……..
